You are Bigger than the Water

Good Morning Re-Imaginers! 

Little story for you about my mom, in addition to my two cents about conscious awareness. No surprise there. 

So she ( mom) was about 95 to 97 years of age and in an assisted living facility in Vegas. I would make regular visits to see her about every 4 to 5 weeks, get her a few groceries ( meals were provided so she only needed a few things each time ) and take her to Chico's to shop and hang with her...lunch, laughs and Wheel of Fortune, of course, and always anything Maryanne Williamson, Neal Donald Walsh or Bruce Lipton. She was an avid reader and searcher.

Anyway, she told me one visit that I needed to start getting her bottled water at the grocery store. I asked why. She never drank bottled water. She said the nurses were on her to not to drink the tap water. I said " sure " and bought her water each time. One time I couldn't get there for about 6 weeks maybe 7 and when I got to her apartment I noticed there were bottles of water still in the fridge. There was no way she still had water left, so I asked her how she got her water. She said " well what I do is fill them up with the tap water and drink those and then the nurses stay off my case about the bottled water business...
she said " Cynthia, I've had tap water my whole life and I'm almost 100. I'm bigger than the water. "

So there it is. It stuck with me. Obviously.

Mom lived til 100 and I never bought her bottled water again. She told me it was a waste of money.

Anyway ... We are bigger than the reality we are looking at. If we believe we are ... This place called earth is designed to dumb us down unless we decide to reach for more expanded ideas about who we really are. It's a daily choice and challenge with so many things to do, as it relates to just taking care of the needs of being in physical form. Roof, food, wheels, job, friends, family, bills etc. Takes a lot of time and focus. Not to mention working in some fun!

Anyway... I wrote this, this morning, as I was pondering water sources and legacy's we leave. ( and doing my Infinite Potential lessons  - infinitepotential.com .) 
Here we go.....

The body is miraculous, yes — a divine instrument — but it’s not the full story. It’s a suit woven of stardust and DNA, designed to help us experience this plane of existence, not to define it.

Most of what we call “reality” is just what the senses can interpret. It’s classical, surface-level, and structured around time, space, and form. But that doesn’t mean it’s the full picture. In fact, it’s just the visible ripple on the surface of an ocean that runs so very deep.

What we perceive through our eyes and ears, what we believe through our conditioning, culture and programmed responses — that’s not the real Real. It’s a beautifully crafted illusion. A hologram generated by consciousness itself. And if we go within — if we dare to remember who we really are — we can begin to see it. Begin to feel it. Go beyond the stories, narratives and drama's of the mind, nation and the world. Knowing it is all a "movie of illusion " playing itself out in the most interesting of ways.

The mystics knew this. The ancient seers of the Upanishads knew this and many more prophets and spiritual masters ... in addition to the many who have experienced its profoundness through an NDE's, mind expanding drugs, meditation or natural awakening experiences. A deeper understanding in quantum physics is finally happening and making its destined merge with spirituality.

What if consciousness isn’t something that arises from the brain, but the source behind it all? What if we are that consciousness — pure, undivided, eternal? The thought changes a few things for sure. What if we decided to play with our infinite potential and understand ourselves from this deeper perspective point? 

We are not separate. We were never separate. The belief that we are just a “self” moving through time in a body is the great optical delusion, as Einstein put it — and it’s a painful one. It leaves us feeling disconnected, disempowered, and searching outside of ourselves for what’s always been within.

We feel this deep unity when we so passionately yearn for kindness and collaboration and are saddened by the destructive acts of competition and control. We know of our connection to one another and the one Source. We truly do, I believe, after all the veils of separatism have been walked through and transformed.

But the good news? We can wake up. You can choose to see through the veil. And when we do, the magic show becomes sacred. The illusion becomes a playground. And our life becomes a creation, not a reaction.

This is our legacy. This is our power. This is the knowing that lives in our bones, beneath the conditioning, beyond the noise — beyond the forgetting of who we really are.

We are bigger than the water and it’s calling us to remember.
